Don't Code? Don't Worry - Free Ways to Create your App

Noah Hyams

It can be frustrating to come up with an idea just to realize that you can't code it together yourself. You could hire someone, but that's expensive. If you're like me and have a ton of ideas floating around your brain, these tools will help you quickly and cheaply create working versions of your vision.

Good Barber

Create a Web or Native Mobile App (Android/iOS)

Don't let the name fool you. Good Barber is the simplest way yet to create web or mobile apps (Android/iOS). It offers a free 30 day trial which should be enough time to figure out if it offers the functionality you seek.

Bubble

A Free No Code Editor

If you're looking for a little more control, Bubble is your answer. Bubble is truly revolutionary. You can build full-fledged websites with app-like functionality without writing any code. It's not expensive and if you're looking to learn even more check out a Udemy course on it.

Strikingly

Create a Landing Page

If you're familiar with Wix and Squarespace (which this website is built on), you'll love Strikingly. It's like both of those but easier to use and more affordable. What makes it easier is the fact that it lets you build pages using pre-populated widgets. Meaning, no design skills needed. I've used a lot of website builders, and this had me off the ground and going the fastest!

Zapier

Automate your Workflows

Zapier is the best way to hack together different web services. If you want your MailChimp (for newsletters) to automatically update a sheet in your Google Drive, you can do that.

These tools will get you pretty far, but with all things tech, one size does not truly fit all.

Let me know your favorite tool in the comments!

Looking back on 2017...

Noah Hyams

I hope you had happy holidays! Thank you for being here. I thought this would be a good time to update you on what I've been up to this past year.

I wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2018.

I had the great fortune of being able to play with amazing musicians in amazing places all over the east coast.

I performed my first set of gigs on piano/keys, and I am currently working on releasing my first set of original music in 2018. Check it out when it drops here!

I continued to work on my life long passion of film. I took advantage of every opportunity to shoot and record special places and occasions.

My client base grew to include startups and musicians such as: The Morning Brew and DJ Cakebatter. Hire me for your next video!

I continued to work on my skills in entrepreneurship and tech. I was accepted into the Startup Leadership Program and started working on my next idea.

I am currently working on creating a competition series for musicians and songwriters called Songathon. Let your friends know about it!

Thank you for a great year. I wish you and your family a healthy and happy 2018.
